1. Competitor Analysis

One of the first stages is a thorough analysis of all aspects of competitor sites, which includes technical aspects such as which keywords they are targeting, as well as calls to action, brand messaging, photography, brand aesthetic and content.

This allows us to create an original design and messaging which distinguishes itself from the competition.

Three colorful business cards on a white surface, each with the text "Miss Biddy's Caribbean Dining" and a logo featuring a window and palm trees, in red, pink, and dark green.

2. Brand Discovery

Most clients come to us for a new website when the old one is looking dated and doesn’t resonate with customers anymore.

Therefore, a new website can also act as a brand refresh. In most cases, we like to hold a Brand Workshop where we run through various topics such as positioning, messaging, target markets, brand strategy and vision.

A computer monitor on a white desk displays a colorful flyer for a music venue featuring live music from Friday to Saturday starting at 9 PM and on Sunday starting at 5 PM, with sections for sports, dogs welcome, and a cute terrace. The desk has potted plants, a white coffee cup with saucer, books, and an hourglass, with a dark wall background.

3. Design & UX

Our work in the Competitor Analysis stages, as well as the Brand Workshop, helps the design team create a beautiful representation of the brand and develop an exceptional user experience.

The site will also be built with future growth in mind, so extra locations can be added easily. We also provide clients with videos showing them how they can quickly and easily update content.

4. SEO & Local Search

Our hospitality web design projects always include the implementation of a comprehensive on-site SEO and Local Search strategy woven into the architecture of the site.

Getting to the top of relevant searches is critical to the success of the website and needs a well-thought-out strategy.

5. Technology & CMS

We build our websites with WordPress – with thousands of plugins, WordPress gives us all the functionality we need to execute our plans.

There are a number of key integrations to ensure the site acts as a real asset to the business – these can include the booking platform widget (eg Opentable), as well as their email marketing provider (eg MailChimp) and Instagram feed. Payment gateways will also be added if hospitality venues take deposits, sell gift vouchers, etc
