Restaurant Website Agency
Restaurant websites are the cornerstone of all marketing activity – as it’s where customers will view the menu, read reviews, learn the brand story and ultimately book a table. At YellowFin, we design restaurant websites that don’t just look good — they work hard.
We build fast, mobile-first sites that are easy to navigate, effortless to update, and optimised to convert visitors into bookings. Whether you’re a casual neighbourhood eatery or a high-end concept, your site will be tailored to reflect your brand and revenue.

1. Restaurant Brand
In the hyper-competitive world of restaurants, a distinctive brand which resonates with target customers is essential to success. When most clients come to us for a new website, it’s not just that the existing one is underperforming; it’s because the brand looks a little tired – the design is dated, and the messaging isn’t clear and enticing.
So we start a restaurant web design project with a discussion on moving the brand forward. This helps us to develop the hooks, calls to action, messaging and imagery to maximise booking conversions.
2. Design
For the website to act as a real asset for the restaurant, it must rank highly on Google for relevant searches. So before we start work on the creative elements of the site, we conduct a thorough keyword analysis. We then create a shortlist of target keywords which will be woven into the content and architecture of the site.
Once built, the site will be optimised for speed and tested on different devices and browsers to ensure it works perfectly wherever it’s viewed.
3. SEO
The design stage starts with the creation of wireframes and the site map, which aim to provide a well-thought-out and smooth user experience. Navigation needs to be intuitive, and the wireframe enables the layout planning, giving hierarchy to the restaurant’s USP’s and enabling customers to find what they want quickly.
The design team then creates a look and feel which perfectly reflects the brand, and we normally also create a homepage video – either from photos or from existing video. We can organise a photoshoot if necessary.
4. Technology
We build all our sites on WordPress as it gives our design team complete freedom to bring a brand aesthetic to life. It also makes things very easy for complete SEO optimisation and a smooth use experience not to mention a high level of security.
We also love the fact there are thousands of plugins, to give us all the functionality we need. For restaurants, there are a number of key integrations which can include:
Booking platform widget – eg Opentable, Seven Rooms etc
Instagram live feed
Email Newsletter platform – eg MailChimp
Ecomm for Gift Vouchers and merchandise
Deliveroo / UberEats
Your Questions, Answered

Pricing depends on scope — a brochure-style site for a single-site independent restaurant is the starting point, while a multi-location group with e-commerce is at the other end of the scale. We scope every project around your brand and revenue goals and provide a fixed, no-obligation quote before any work begins.
-
Most restaurant website projects take between 6 and 10 weeks from brief to launch, depending on the size of the site, whether new photography or video is needed, and how many rounds of feedback are involved. Multi-site groups or sites with custom booking/ordering integrations can take longer.
-
Yes. We build all our restaurant sites on WordPress, as it gives our design team the freedom to bring a brand to life visually while keeping the site fully optimised for SEO, security, and ease of use. However if budgets don’t allow for Wordpress we can also create a site on Squarespace for around a third of the cost.
-
Yes. Every site we build is designed to be easy to manage day-to-day — updating menus, opening hours, offers, and imagery shouldn't need a developer. We can also provide training or ongoing support if you'd prefer to hand that side over to us.
-
Yes — SEO is built into the process from the start, not bolted on afterwards. Before any design work begins, we run keyword analysis for your restaurant and area, and weave target search terms into the site's content and architecture so it's positioned to rank from launch.
-
Yes. We regularly integrate booking widgets (OpenTable, SevenRooms, and similar), Deliveroo/UberEats ordering, Instagram live feeds, email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, and e-commerce for gift vouchers or merchandise — whatever your restaurant needs to convert visitors into customers.
-
Yes. We often create a homepage video using existing footage or photography, and can organise a full photoshoot if your restaurant needs new imagery to match the brand.

Our web design work spans the wider hospitality sector — restaurants, pubs, cafés, bakeries, and hotels — so the approach flexes to suit different concepts, from casual neighbourhood spots to high-end dining.
-
That's common — most clients come to us because the site is underperforming and the brand feels tired. We can start with brand strategy and identity work before moving into web design, or run both in parallel, so the final site reflects a brand that's been properly thought through, not just restyled.
