Social Media Advertising for Restaurants
Social Media platforms are important channels to reach new customers and engage with your existing clientele. The algorithms are constantly changing – it’s becoming harder and harder to reach your followers and new people with your organic content alone.
However, social media advertising for restaurants offers excellent opportunities for carefully targeted campaigns. We manage all aspects of social media advertising for restaurants, which include the following:

1. Social Media Strategy
Before generating any content, we start by developing a bespoke social media strategy specific to their target markets and location.
During this stage, we also work on USP’s – developing the messaging and brand stories which we want to communicate. Objectives are set and conversion tracking is implemented.
2. Content & Creative
For most clients, our photographer will visit their restaurant once every 2 months to get all the content we need. This includes still photos as well as video and covers all the imagery we need for the next couple of months.
Our design team will use this content to create a range of different ads covering all formats to maximise reach and engagement – for example, video, carousel and story ads.
3. Audience Targeting
All the social media platforms have a range of targeting options, making sure that campaigns are carefully developed, targeted and monitored to maximise returns.
This includes geo-targeting, demographics, look-alike and interests.
4. Influencer & User Generate Content
Organic, user-generated content does well in terms of engagement and reach; therefore, it’s a key part of our social media strategy for restaurants.
We have a comprehensive database of influencers which we are always adding to. These relationships mean all our clients get fantastic user-generated content which can be shared on their channels.
5. Analytics & Optimisation
We carefully analyse every campaign, making adjustments to the targeting, calls to action and content to ensure the best return on investment is achieved for our clients.
If budgets allow, we run A/B testing on campaigns to ensure that campaign data is properly tested.
Your Questions, Answered

It depends on which services you need. Some clients want a full package whereby we take care of everything – for example social media, SEO, ads, email and graphic design all run by us; others just need one or two channels covered. Therefore our monthly fees range from £700 to £2K a month. We work on a rolling one-month agreement rather than a fixed contract, which gives clients the flexibility to work on specific campaigns like restaurant launches.

A specialist understands the things generic agencies usually miss — seasonality, table turn times, the booking platforms diners actually use, and how local search and reviews drive footfall in a way they don't for most other businesses. We've worked with over 200 restaurants in 15 years, so campaigns are built on what's already proven to work in hospitality, not adapted from a retail or B2B playbook.

It varies by channel. Paid social and Google Ads can start driving bookings within a few weeks. Local SEO and organic search rankings take longer to build — typically three to six months — but deliver more sustainable, lower-cost traffic over time. We'll always be upfront about which channels suit your timeline when we put a plan together.
