E-commerce

Unlike traditional retail outlets, e-commerce sites are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They differ in many ways from a brochure site designed to build trust and create leads. However, for us, the process is very similar. With over 200 ranking factors, the Google Algorithm may seem like a minefield.

However, we’ve been studying it for years and all our websites are built to get found. The process starts with a thorough keyword and competitor analysis, laying the foundations of a site which effectively targets a client’s keywords. The UX for an e-commerce site demands clarity, simplicity and strong calls to action – something we build into each and every site we create. Hosting

We build all our sites with WordPress as it gives up all the flexibility and plugins we need to deliver sites which act as real assets for our clients. For ecommerce sites, we use the WooCommerce plugin as in our experience it’s very easy to set up and use.

We host all our client’s websites on our UK-based servers, which are very reliable and fast. As part of any website design-build, we also provide monthly support as well as hosting. For many clients, we help with ensuring the latest content is shown on their websites.

This might include the latest projects, offers, menus, press coverage or products to name a few. But we also make regular updates to security, WordPress plug-in updates and SSL certificates – all of which ensure the perfect user experience as well as what’s good for the Google Algorithm.
